The New Deal
You are looking at this website and you can see: something is different. In fact, everything is different! Not one familiar image! Let me be the first to assure you that everything is different and you are not crazy, but your narrator is nonetheless the same. And here is one particularly funny and noteworthy difference: there is a narrator now! Just when you thought blogs had become passe! I had struggled with the notion, mostly because I didn't know how to do it, but went with it in the end because everyone else gets to have their little running commentary. I want my fifteen minutes. I want to have disembodied opinions just like everyone. Mostly I want to write stuff and publish it from wherever I am. Also, you the reader now get to have an active role! There is a place for you to add your own little two bits. Comments: passive activity. Cool!
The other new features of this website are a portfolio and a "store." I was going to wait and amass good stock before putting it up, but that's just stalling so I put it up. I can't think what else. One way to put it is: same shit, different day. Another way is: can't polish a turd. Yet another, more accurate way is: I made something new. I hope you like it!
Well, what's happening? Hasn't it been a long time since you've heard from me? Maybe this will help you understand: this afternoon at work, I sat at the sewing machine trying to make a perfect pair of wolf feet, my friend Nate was in the other room trying to carve a perfect foam head, we were listening to Fleetwood Mac, and I really believed I could go my own way.
The tip of the iceberg, my friends!
At the Byrd this week - Eragon and Rocky Balboa.
Laugh Corner with Jeff - Tonight a black cat crossed my path, but it crossed at a crosswalk when it had a green light.

Hi Erin,
I too have a blog! Woah. Let's be blog-buddies. Nice to see you tonight.

Hello!
Recently I learned that you live in the same town as me, and ever since, I've attempted to go see you play, and magically I've been thwarted every time.
A friend brought me a copy of "All the days are numbered so" and I read your bit about Orson Scott Card. I just wanted to tell you that I read the Ender trilogy a few years ago and loved it so much. I feel like the life I had then is so far removed from my life now that I kind of forgot about those books. I thought you'd like to know that you inspired me to re-read them, ASAP!
Okay, I hope the next time you're playing in town, magic helps me make it there. Bye for now!
It's a beautiful website, professional level web design and layout but even more than that. Ever think of producing your own Flash? The artwork would probably appeal to you, and the actionscript programming is a natural outlet for people with (hidden or not so hidden) math talent.
Very nice site! -
