Surprise! Still here!

I really just wanted to quickly say that I am still alive over here in Germany. It turns out the people of Europe were ready for me after all and have let me stay, welcomed, on their continent. Lucky! They did this thing where they put all the letters on the computer keyboards in weird spots, though, just to mess with me.

Briefly: I am touring in a yellow van now, not a car. I have four French friends with me. I can cuss pretty good in French but have a hard time asking for water at the bar. I am reading The Autobiography of Malcolm X. The shows have generally been really fun. I have bought six postcards, written three and sent zero. I am sleeping on Felix's floor tonight. I have almost cracked the stern exterior of German audiences. Fender Mustangs are almost all they're cracked up to be but really I think the "action" on them is actually "too low." I have bought only a handful of food items for myself, most of it cool chocolate.

So that's the gist of it at the moment. More soon, probably after I get home on the 26th: pictures and a reflection.

THANK YOU FOR HAVING ME.

I really wanted to hitchhike from Latvia and see you, but couldn't manage. My friend Ieva is living in a squat in France you'll be playing though, so I'm jealous.
