Emergency Response Solutions at Michigan State University is pleased to provide the following services to companies engaged in construction projects located throughout North America.

Third Party Safety

Provide a certified and qualified safety professional who will perform the following tasks:

  • Implement the Pre-Task Plan
  • Conduct daily safety briefings
  • Complete required documentation
  • Monitor safety practices and OSHA construction requirements
  • Fire Watch

    Provide a certified and qualified firefighter who will perform the following tasks:

  • Prevent and eliminate fire hazards
  • Perform fire suppression activities using portable extinguishers and 1.5-inch hose lines
  • Issue Hot Work Permits, if required
  • Implement the Pre-Task Plan
  • Confined Space Entry and Standby Rescue

    Provide certified and qualified rescuers who will perform the following tasks:

  • Issue Confined Space Entry Permits
  • Conduct air monitoring
  • Provide adequate ventilation, where appropriate
  • Conduct a pre-entry briefing
  • Set up appropriate rescue systems
  • Perform rescue services (locate, access, stabilize and transfer)
  • Provide first aid, CPR and AED capabilities, if required
  • Implement the Pre-Task Plan
  • For each of the services described above, MSU will provide a fully equipped emergency rescue trailer. MSU will also provide any safety documentation required. The number of personnel required to perform these services will be determined based on a specific needs assessment conducted prior to the commencement of work. Quotes will be provided upon request. At the completion of each project, MSU will provide a close-out report and invoice. Travel expenses for all personnel will be billed at cost.
